These Terms govern the paid services we provide for Trina AX and your use of the website https://ax.trina.app. Our main paid service is Trina AX hosting (“Hosting” or the “Service”). By placing an order or using the Service, you agree to these Terms on behalf of the organization you represent (“Customer”, “you”). If you do not have authority to bind that organization, do not use the Service.
1. What is free and what is paid
1.1 Trina AX software. Trina AX connects a company’s files, skills and usage to Claude for each employee, with folder permissions set per person. It is open-source software. Its license is stated in its source code, and your use of the software itself is governed by that license, not by these Terms. The source code of the version we run for you is available from the link in the product, or by email to contact@trina.app. Self-hosting Trina AX is free and is not covered by these Terms, except where we provide a paid service to you.
1.2 Hosting. We run your own Trina AX server for you. Hosting is sold as monthly plans. Each plan has a limit on the number of people (accounts), a server size and an amount of storage. The plans, their limits and their prices are shown on the pricing section of https://ax.trina.app at the time of your order. If you need more people than your plan allows, you move to a higher plan.
1.3 Custom services. Larger setups are custom services under a written quote (“Custom Services”). Examples: more people than our largest plan allows, hosting in your own Amazon Web Services account, or installing Trina AX on your own server or an office Mac mini. Custom Services are contracted and invoiced directly by Trina Inc., not through the online checkout. These Terms apply to Custom Services unless the quote says otherwise.
2. Accounts and eligibility
The Service is for businesses and other organizations, not for personal or household use. You must give accurate company and contact details and keep them current. You decide who gets an account on your server and which folders each person can reach. You are responsible for the people you authorize and for keeping credentials and access tokens secure.
3. Hosting: what we provide
3.1 Your own server in Seoul. Each customer gets its own virtual server from Amazon Web Services (AWS), in the AWS Asia Pacific (Seoul) region, Republic of Korea. Your files, database, logs and backups are stored in AWS Seoul. We do not use your content to train AI models, and we do not sell it.
3.2 Your address and Cloudflare. Your server is reached at an address of the form https://<company>.trina.app. Traffic to this address passes through Cloudflare, Inc., which provides DNS, TLS and proxy services. To deliver the traffic, Cloudflare decrypts and re-encrypts it at its network edge.
3.3 What is included. Every plan includes:
- setting up your server and its address;
- updates and security fixes;
- backups;
- monitoring;
- help by email from a person at Trina.
3.4 Start and support. Your server is usually ready within 1 business day after your first payment. We email you its address when it is ready. We aim to reply to support emails within 1 Korean business day (09:00–18:00 KST). These are targets, not guarantees.
3.5 No uptime guarantee. We use reasonable efforts to keep the Service available, but we do not guarantee a specific uptime unless a separate signed agreement says so. We announce planned maintenance in advance when practical.
4. Claude and Anthropic
4.1 Your own Claude plans. Trina AX works with Claude, a service of Anthropic. You use your own Claude plans (Team, Enterprise, Pro or Max) or your own Anthropic API key. You pay Anthropic for Claude usage directly. It is never billed through us and is not part of the Hosting price.
4.2 What goes to Anthropic. When a person uses Claude with Trina AX, what Claude reads to answer goes to Anthropic under your agreement with Anthropic. We are not a party to that transfer. Trina AX controls which folders each person can reach; it cannot control what Anthropic does with content once sent.
4.3 Anthropic’s terms. You must follow Anthropic’s terms and usage policies. In particular, people must not share one Claude login.
5. Our access to your server
People with administrator access to a server can technically read its files. On Hosting, that includes Trina’s named operators. We access your server only to provide the Service, to answer your requests, or to handle a security incident. We log that access. Our staff are bound by confidentiality obligations. Where we process personal data on your behalf, we act as your processor under §12.
6. Custom Services
Scope, price and schedule are set in the quote. We perform the work with reasonable skill and care. Unless the quote says otherwise, the work is complete when the agreed items are installed and handed over, or 5 business days after handover if you have not reported a material defect. When we install Trina AX on a server, Mac mini or AWS account that you own, your data is stored there, you provide and maintain that hardware or account, and the quote sets out what we operate and support.
7. Acceptable use
You must not use the Service to: break the law; infringe others’ rights; store or distribute malware or illegal content; attempt to access systems or data you are not authorized to access; or resell the Service without our written consent. We may suspend the Service, after notice where practicable, if your use creates a security risk or legal exposure for us or others.
8. Prices, payment and taxes
8.1 Online orders. Online orders are processed by our online reseller, which is the Merchant of Record for the order. The reseller is either Polar Software, Inc. (USA) or Creem, operated by Armitage Labs OÜ (Estonia, registry code 16977866), as shown at checkout. The reseller sells the subscription to you, collects payment, adds applicable sales tax, VAT or GST, and issues your invoices and receipts. It handles payment-related questions and refunds together with us. When you buy through the online checkout, you also agree to the reseller’s buyer terms:
8.2 Customers in Korea. Customers in the Republic of Korea use the same online checkout and are charged in US dollars; the card must allow international payments. Alternatively, you can contract with us directly by quote (§8.3).
8.3 Direct contracts. Custom Services, and Hosting contracted by quote, are contracted and invoiced directly by Trina Inc.: in KRW with an electronic tax invoice (전자세금계산서) for customers in Korea, or in US dollars by bank transfer.
8.4 Your subscription at a glance (online orders).
| Price | The plan price shown at checkout, in US dollars, plus applicable tax |
| Billing | Monthly, in advance |
| Renewal | Renews automatically every month. You are charged each month until you cancel |
| How to cancel | From the customer billing portal linked in your receipt email, or by email to contact@trina.app |

| Refunds | Full refund of your first payment if you ask within 14 days of it. Details in our Refund Policy |
| Price changes | We email you at least 30 days before a new price applies to your renewal |
8.5 Late or failed payment. If a renewal payment fails, the reseller retries it and notifies you (for direct invoices, we notify you). If payment is still outstanding 14 days after the due date, we may suspend the Service after notice. Your data is kept as described in §10.
9. Cancellation, refunds and plan changes
9.1 Cancel any time. You can cancel from the customer billing portal linked in your receipt email, or by email to contact@trina.app. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the month you have paid for. The Service runs until then, and you are not charged again.
9.2 Refunds. Refunds are described in our Refund Policy at https://ax.trina.app/refund, which forms part of these Terms. In short: we refund your first payment in full if you ask within 14 days of it; later monthly renewals are not refunded.
9.3 Plan changes. You can change plans at any time. Upgrades are prorated by the reseller at checkout. Downgrades take effect from the next billing period.
10. When the Service ends
10.1 Hosting. When Hosting ends for any reason, we stop your server. We keep your data for 30 days, during which you can ask us for an export. After that, we delete your server and its data. Backups are deleted within a further 30 days.
10.2 You can always run it yourself. Trina AX is open-source software. You can run it yourself at any time, before or after the Service ends.
10.3 Custom Services on your own hardware or account. When we stop operating Trina AX on a server, Mac mini or AWS account that you own, we remove our access. Your data stays where it is.
11. Confidentiality
Each party will keep the other’s non-public information confidential, use it only to perform or receive the Service and Custom Services, and protect it with at least reasonable care. This does not apply to information that is public through no fault of the receiving party, already known to it, independently developed, or that must be disclosed by law (with prompt notice where lawful).
12. Data processing
12.1 For personal data in your files and logs that we process while providing the Service or Custom Services, you are the controller and we are the processor. We will:
- process it only on your documented instructions (these Terms and your support requests);
- keep it confidential;
- apply appropriate technical and organizational security measures;
- help you respond to data-subject requests and security incidents;
- notify you without undue delay, and in any case within 72 hours, after becoming aware of a personal-data breach affecting your server;
- delete it when the Service ends, as described in §10.
12.2 Sub-processors. We use these sub-processors for Hosting: Amazon Web Services, Inc. (your server, storage and backups, in the AWS Seoul region) and Cloudflare, Inc. (DNS, TLS and proxy for your address). We will tell you by email before we add or replace a sub-processor, so that you can object.
12.3 Anthropic is not our sub-processor. Content sent to Claude goes to Anthropic under your own agreement with Anthropic (§4.2).
12.4 Personal data about you as our customer (contact and billing details) is handled under our Privacy Policy at https://ax.trina.app/privacy, which forms part of these Terms.
12.5 If you need a signed data processing agreement (for example for GDPR), contact contact@trina.app.
13. Intellectual property and feedback
The open-source software is licensed as stated in its source code (§1.1). Our trademarks, including “Trina” and “Trina AX”, are not licensed to you under these Terms or under the open-source license. You keep all rights in your content. If you send us suggestions, we may use them without obligation to you.
14. Warranties and disclaimers
We will perform the Service with reasonable skill and care. Except as expressly stated in these Terms, the Service and the software are provided “as is”, and we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement, to the extent permitted by law. We are not responsible for Claude or other Anthropic services, including the answers Claude gives, or for the devices, networks and accounts you choose to use.
15. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law: (a) neither party is liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost profits, revenue or data, even if advised of their possibility; (b) each party’s total liability arising out of these Terms is limited to the amounts paid or payable by you for the Service and Custom Services in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. These limits do not apply to liability that cannot be limited by law, to your payment obligations, or to breach of confidentiality caused by intentional misconduct.
16. Indemnity
You will defend and indemnify us against third-party claims arising from your content or your breach of §7. We will defend and indemnify you against third-party claims that the Service, as provided by us, infringes that third party’s intellectual property rights, excluding the open-source software itself.
17. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. We will post the new version on this page with a new effective date and, for material changes, notify active customers by email at least 30 days before they take effect. If you do not agree, you may cancel before the change takes effect and receive a prorated refund of prepaid fees for the remaining period.
18. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. The parties will first try to resolve any dispute in good faith by email.
18.1 Customers in Korea. Disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the Daegu District Court Gyeongju Branch (대구지방법원 경주지원) as the court of first instance.
18.2 Customers outside Korea. These Terms are also governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea, and the Daegu District Court Gyeongju Branch has jurisdiction as the court of first instance, unless the consumer protection law that applies to you requires otherwise.
18.3 Either party may seek urgent injunctive relief in any competent court.
19. General
These Terms, the Refund Policy (https://ax.trina.app/refund), the Privacy Policy (https://ax.trina.app/privacy) and any order form or quote are the entire agreement between us about the Service and Custom Services. The Refund Policy and the Privacy Policy form part of these Terms. If they conflict, the order form or quote prevails, then these Terms. Neither party may assign these Terms without the other’s consent, except to a successor of its business. Neither party is liable for delays caused by events beyond its reasonable control. If a provision is unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. Notices to us: contact@trina.app. Notices to you: by email to the contact address on your account or order.
